Sinusitis & It's Complications:
Acute sinusitis causes the spaces inside your nose (sinuses) to become inflamed and swollen. This interferes with drainage and causes mucus to build up. With acute sinusitis, it might be difficult to breathe through your nose. The area around your eyes and face might feel swollen, and you might have throbbing facial pain or a headache. Acute sinusitis is mostly caused by the common cold. Sinusitis complications include the following Chronic sinusitis, Meningitis, Other infections and Vision problems.
Voice Disorders:
A voice disorder occurs when changes in the sound of your voice happen due to swollen, inflamed, or improperly functioning vocal cords. Vertigo is a common issue and is of two types Peripheral vertigo and Central vertigo. Some of the common symptoms of vertigo are Nausea and vomiting, Balance problems, Tinnitus, Headaches, Motion sickness, A feeling of fullness in the ear, Nystagmus, in which the eyes move side to side uncontrollably.
Hearing Loss In Children & Adults:
A person who is not able to hear as well as someone with normal hearing – hearing thresholds of 20 dB or better in both ears – is said to have hearing loss. Hearing loss may be mild, moderate, severe, or profound. It can affect one ear or both ears and leads to difficulty in hearing conversational speech or loud sounds. We are Nigam’s Clinic treat the hearing loss and specialise in treating the same. Some of the common issues for hearing loss are chronic ear infections (chronic suppurative otitis media), collection of fluid in the ear (chronic nonsuppurative otitis media), meningitis and other infections, smoking, otosclerosis, age-related sensorineural degeneration, sudden sensorineural hearing loss.
